Susan crocheted hundreds of blankets that she gifted to friends and relatives. Kuo Mama blankets were made with love, one crochet loop at a time. It often took  Susan weeks or even months to make a single blanket in her spare time, between all her other activities as a wife, mother, grandmother, and community member.
